Unfortunately Etsy cannot quote our style of shipping so we ask customers to contact us before ordering. Our items ship fully assembled, which can be pricey to some areas of the country. We ship with smaller companies who are more like movers. The items are blanket wrapped and typically arrive in a box truck or truck and trailer. The service you are paying for is for threshold delivery only. While some carriers may assist or deliver in home, they are not required to do this. The driver should call within 24 hours of delivery. While they do try to schedule a time frame that works for you, they do typically have other deliveries so options may be limited.

Firstly, the quality of the coffee table was great. When I ordered the coffee table, I didn’t expect shipping to be $300. I contacted the seller interested in canceling my order because I could get it made locally without the shipping cost. I was informed I couldn’t cancel after 24 hours. I waited a long time for the table to be made, then once it shipped I was told delivery would be the next day and to contact the delivery driver for details. However, the delivery driver didn’t respond to my calls or text so after 4 days I informed the shop and they were able to contact the driver. The next day the table was delivered but I had to unload it which isn’t the usual with a large piece of furniture. Like I said, the quality of the item is great and it’s a beautiful piece. I would just check shipping costs before ordering.
